Article: Why You Should March to the Beat of Your Own Drum.

Want to know one of the key traits on how to be millionaire? You need to learn how to march to the beat of your own dream, and be yourself rather than follow the masses. This is never as easy as it sounds though, and doing so takes a lot of guts. Nevertheless, this is how the big thinkers such as millionaire mind book author T. Harv Eker and other successful types are able to make their dreams a reality, by thinking ‘out of the box’ and not following the pack. You will be able to enjoy more freedom, success and excitement in your life when you go against the flow, and learn to be the master of your own destiny and thoughts, creating new ideas as you go along.

What makes being different so tough then? In most cases, it stems from our childhoods – being taught to follow rules, and do what we are told. When we did artwork, we learned how to paint in the lines, and when we went over those lines we were reprimanded and corrected. This gave us the habit if staying within the lines as we got older.

This conditioning causes many people to stay safely in the lines throughout life, to avoid problems and stay in their comfort zone of things that are ‘normal’. When people or things don’t fit into this ‘normal’ zone, often they are shunned or feared – further aggravating the problem. The need for acceptance often prevents us from breaking out and being different – when we could be taking the courage to stand out and succeed as a true individual.

Think about it – how are you being your own person and marching to your own beat?
