This makes sense if you look at how visualisation and control over your thoughts has such a huge impact on reality – if you believe that you have control over your life, then you can make the right choices. If you wait around waiting for something to happen, or someone to blame, then chances are good that things will never change. Justifying your actions or complaining won’t help either, as ultimately you are never in control of your thoughts, meaning that you will never learn to master your own destiny.
